Hi _____, good to hear from you. Hope you are having a good day.

I will leave it up to you as to how you would like to present my questions. Whatever you think is best. I will gladly join your forum if you think that is best, or you can post them. I am interested in people studying God's Word and following only His authority.

You are right, I don't think you ever accomplish anything by being argumentative in a 'mean' or 'wrong' sense. We need to 'contend (agonize, wrestle) earnestly for the faith which was once for all delivered unto the saints. (Jude 3) But it must be done the proper way, in love (Eph. 4:15) But to 'argue' is good of and within itself: the first definition of 'argue' is simply "to present reasons for or against a thing". Paul did much arguing, called "reasoning" (to bring together different reasons and reckon them up) Acts 19:8,9, so he could 'persuade' people of the Truth. (Also Acts 17:2,17, etc.)

But if we don't love one another properly (2nd. greatest commandment; Mt. 22:37-40), then we are in big trouble with our Father in Heaven! Paul said in II Cor. 12:15; "And I will most gladly spend and be spent for your souls" I believe that says it in a nutshell!

Yours in Christ,
David
