Hello friend, I'm really happy to have you visit my web site! I have tried to make it one of the best Bible study sites available for the pure Truth of the Creator to be sought and found!

My goal is to help you find the pure truth that the Creator has given us that will lead us to His home, Heaven! As for me, my name is David L. Odom. I am presently a Computer Applications Programmer, and work in ColdFusion, SQL, JavaScript, HTML, and Microsoft Database Systems.
I proudly served my country to protect its citizens from 1961 to 1964 in the 82nd Airborne Division at Fort Bragg, NC (Airborne All The Way!). AIRBORNE FACTS
I attended a private college in Temple Terrace, Florida, called Florida College from 1966 to 1970. Florida College is an independent college that accepts no funds from churches or government. Florida College is run by christians, and has an excellent atmosphere, with excellent Bible courses.
I have preached the Gospel of Jesus Christ publicly for over 20 years. Of course, that doesn't make my positions correct! But I just wanted you to know that I'm not a novice at studying God's inspired Word. I also need to point out that I am not inspired in any miraculous sense as many religious teachers claim today!
I have worked with various independent groups of christians that use the name of the One who purchased His church with His own blood. 'church of Christ' as their assembly name. I am interested in all of mankind following God's Word, as He wants us to, without additions or subtractions to His authority. The question is; am I studying God's Word with an open mind, not adding to it, or taking away from it? Deut. 4:1,2; Prov. 30:6; Rev. 22:18,19 But that is for you to decide with the Holy Word of God!

But if you sincerely disagree, and want to defend what you believe with Scripture, fine. If I disagree with your understanding of the Scripture, I will try to show you why I think the Scripture is being used wrongly. Remember, I may be wrong, you may be wrong, we both may be wrong, but we both can’t be right, if we hold opposing views. God does not contradict Himself!

God wants us to use our minds (not emotions) to study His Word and understand what He wants us to do: "Come now, and let us reason together, saith Jehovah: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool. If ye be willing and obedient..." (Isaiah 1:18,19).
If we do this in a spirit of love, I believe God will be pleased! He tells us to "Contend (agonize, wrestle) earnestly for the faith which was once for all delivered unto the saints" (Jude 3). But He also tells us to do this in a proper way; "...but speaking Truth IN LOVE, may grow up in all things into Him, who is the head, even Christ..." (Ephesians 4:15).
